13 September 2011 Azerbaijan launches import of aircrafts from Germany
Azerbaijan launches import of aircrafts from Germany The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee reports of the beginning of import of planes from German.
SCC chairman Aydin Aliyev has stated in Baku today that currently aircraft fleet of national carier Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) consists of 6 planes made in Germany.
"The total amount of the contract for purchase of these aircrafts is $231 million. These planes have not passed customs declaration yet," he said.
