The government of Azerbaijan is developing recommendations on developing hotel business in Baku.
Today Culture and Tourism Minister of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev has reported that the government does not interfere with entrepreneurs’ business who define construction and category of hotels to be opened.
"If the entrepreneurs want to build 5-star hotels we can not stop them from it , but in turn we give our recommendations concerning importance to construct cheaper, 4,3,2-star hotels able to attract more tourists to our country",- the Minister said.
According to him, presently the Ministry is developing special proposals on construction of different category hotels in the country. 5-star hotels are chiefly constructed in Baku.
