Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry of Azerbaijan has basic assessments of gold and silver reserves in Chovdar field in Gedabey region of Azerbaijan.
Ecology and Natural Resources Minister of Azerbaijan Huseyngulu Bagirov has reported that recoverable reserves at the field total 44.61 tons of gold and 164.25 tons of silver.
" Londex company, contractor on filed development is presently carrying out additional exploration work to specify reserves ",- the minister said.
Geologic company Londex Resources S.A. leads consortium of group of investment companies created for implementation of ore mining projects in Azerbaijan. The branch of AIMROC ( Azerbaijan International Operation Company of Mineral Resources ) was opened in Azerbaijan in 2007.
