Goygol plans to meet tourists in modern form this year
According to information of Kapaz TV channel, international tourism standards will be used in the territory of Goygol region in order to provide trip and convenience of tourists.
Goygol region director of the Department of Culture and Tourism Shargiya Humbatova informed that works continue in this direction. It is predicted that 2012 will be good for tourism of Goygol. According to the director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the region Shargiya Humbatova, a plan of actions has been prepared in order to provide the modern level of rest for local and foreign tourists both in winter and summer season. It includes modern hotel service, recreation routes, modern and safe canteen, and also fluently English speaking waiter services. According to director of department, allocating financial resources was offered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to some recreation centers in order to update their territory’s infrastructure in the form of today’s requirements.
According to Sh. Humbatova, Goygol is the region with tourism potential. “Tourism recreation centers are being built here. A new hotel has been built in Toghan village. We want to increase the number of tourist routes this year and unlike the past years to take our guests to different places. Now we have 5 tourist routes and we want to increase their number. We are carrying out our works in this field.”
Talking about ancient bridges of the region existing since 12th and 14th centuries, she said that for the next year it is intended to repair and restore at the state level the historical bridges faced the threat of collapse. It should be noted that there are 5 bridges in Goygol. Four of them are on Ganja River, and one is on Kurekchay.
