Rules defined by the Ministry of Transportation for those who are engaged in taxi activity will also be applied to Ganja.
According to regional transportation’s department number 1, up to 1500 taxis are functioning in the city now. Only to 400 of them were given mark of honors last year. But in the current year completely new rules will be applied in the activities of taxis. According to new rules, those who wish to engage in taxi activity should have 5-year term license number, and a spreadsheet, taximeters and GPRS must be set up in their automobiles.
