Online payment system will be started within the framework of the second phase of intellectual transport project in route buses. Ministry of Transport has informed AzerTac that the first phase of the project on intellectual transport management is currently being implemented. However, online payment system will be started in buses in a second stage. 4086 equipments have been installed within the framework of the second phase of intellectual transport project up to now. 2096 of them are in buses. It should be mentioned that last year on December, 29 the Transportation Management Center began to operate in Baku. The main goal of the Center's activity is to improve the transport system, increase the quality of transport services, regulate the public transport and optimize movement routes in the capital.
