The electronic version of the statistical data collection system is improved. In condition of wider access to information technologies, one of the main problems for statistics in Azerbaijan is improvement of the electronic version of the statistical data collection system. According to information that AzerTac is provided by State Statistics Committee, collection of reports in an electronic form has already begun in country statistical agencies, and more than 1,500 enterprises and organizations submit their statistical reports only in electronic form.
Special "Electronic Services" section has been created on the web page of State Statistics Committee in order to provide the execution of the Order by President Ilham Aliyev dated May, 23, 2011 “About some actions in the field of organizing electronic services by state bodies”.
