Moldova plans to buy gas from Azerbaijan
AzerTAc reports that Moldova's Prime Minister Vladimir Filat said these words on the eve of his visit to Azerbaijan. He noted that Moldova plans to diversify the import of energy resources and buy gas from Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea basin in the framework of “Nabucco” and AGRI (Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector) projects. The Prime Minister Vladimir Filat reminded his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev within the framework of "Eastern Partnership" summit in Warsaw and stressed that special attention will be paid to diversification of energy resources to supply of Moldova. He also expressed his hope for obtaining necessary agreements in the direction of realization of joint projects in the future.
