Azerbaijan gets ready for application of the Great Britain experience in the field of internal control. The Head of Internal control department of the Ministry of Economic Development Ayaz Aliyev said about this to journalists on Monday.
“We have begun to carry out primary investigations in order to apply the best practice in the field of internal control within the framework of SIGMA program of European Union (EU). For this purpose we have learned Lithuania's experience in tax inspections. This system has been adopted from Great Britain and tested successfully”, - said Aliyev.
According to his words, today Azerbaijan analyses keeping order and calculating local demands and corporate interests in order to adopt this practice in the future.
“Priority for Azerbaijan is the study of international experience in the field of fighting against corruption. Within this framework the state cooperates with EU under TAIEX and SIGMA tools”, - Aliyev stressed.
SIGMA supports Central and Eastern European countries in development of modern administrative systems. SIGMA pays special attention to financial control, the control over state budget, state orders and auditor's control.
