The most modern city will be erected in the lap of the Caspian Sea
"Avesta" concern erects unique complex with high infrastructure in artificial islands in the lap of the Caspian Sea.
According to official website of the concern, the construction of “Khazar Islands” complex is conducted at 23 kilometers of the capital, to the south-west, in the direction of Sahil settlement. The most distant island will be erected at 7 kilometers from the coast.
The area of the construction covers 2 thousand hectares and consists of “top” island, buildings extending in two parallel lines, multi-storied buildings erected along small islands and separate islands for villas. Buildings and islands of the complex will be connected with bridges.
The construction related to the project has begun in September 2010. Residential buildings, offices, commercial and entertainment centers, boulevards will be built in an extraordinary architectural style and provided with the latest technologies. In a word, all necessary facilities will be offered here to provide needs of people.
The completion of the first phase of construction is planned by the end of 2013.
