Chemists of Sumgait are ready to cooperate with Japanese businessmen. In these days, the prospects of bilateral relationships in this area have been discussed at the meeting with representatives of Japanese Embassy in our country in the head office of “Azerkimya” Production Union of SOCAR.
The positive dynamics of cooperation between the two countries was noted both in oil-chemistry industry and in other fields of economy. The guests were informed about the prospects of development of the chemical industry.
Japanese diplomats showed their interest to the creation of a modern industrial chemistry park and carbamide plant in Sumgait. It was noted at the meeting that dozens of private chemical enterprises will operate in the territory of the park. Chemists expressed that they are ready to discuss the proposals of the Japanese investors.
It should be noted that the management of "Azerkimya" Production Union of SOCAR is actively extending the scope of cooperation with the accredited diplomatic representations. Before that, meetings were held with the diplomats of the Korean embassy, some of the countries of the CIS and other countries.
